EBCCS Improvements:
-
Promethean Boards
- In our quest to continually improve our academic program, we have
installed Promethean Interactive Boards in many of our classrooms.
These Boards allow our teachers to conduct innovative lessons through the
use of technology and the internet. The possibilities are endless.
We are very excited about this new learning tool at our school.
-
New Cafeteria and
Basement Floor - At last we have been able to make this necessary
building improvement. It has given a dramatic uplift to our lowest
level.
-
Beautification Project
- The outside of our building continues to improve. New inscribed
bricks have been laid, a new moveable rod iron gate has been installed, and
beautiful flowers have been planted.
-
Hand Sanitizer
Dispensers - In our attempt to address the impending H1N1 flue, hand
sanitizer dispensers will be installed throughout the building.
Please welcome
back our teachers and a big welcome to our newest(*) school members.

Emergency Information
Forms - The office and classroom teachers must have an emergency form on
file. Attached here are the necessary forms to fill out. Please fill
out for each child in your family who attends our school. All forms must
be returned to your child's homeroom teacher by Friday, September 11th.
Emergency Contact Form,
Field Trip Form,
Consent to Release Child Form
Breakfast and Hot Lunch
- EBCCS provides daily breakfast and hot lunch programs. Since
these programs are federally funded, students from income qualifying families
maybe eligible for free or reduced meals. Federal application forms are
attached. If you wish to apply for federal assistance, please return the
application by Thursday, September 10th. It is necessary to fill out only one
form per family.
Snacks - Snacks
are available daily at recess time. Milk and cookies are $.75 per item.
Students are asked to pay at the time of purchase.
Lunch Regulations
- Students may bring bag lunches to school. But these lunches must come in
with the children in the morning. We ask parents NOT to bring food from
restaurants such as McDonalds at lunchtime. This can be upsetting for
children whose parents cannot do the same. In fairness to all, we ask
students to either eat the lunches provided by our school or bring bag lunches
with them in the morning.
Extended Day Program
- Our school provides an after school program from 2:30 - 4:30pm.
The rates are $10 a day for one child, $15 for two and $20 for three or more in
a family. Registration for our Extended Day Program will take place this
Thursday, September 10th between 7:45 - 8:15 or 11:00am - 12:00 noon.
There is a non refundable fee of $10 for one child, $15 for two children, and
$20 for three or more children at the time of registration.
If these times are not
convenient, please call the office to ask for the form to be sent home.
